Rain Stops Penn-Can; Bridgeport On Deck

SUSQUEHANNA, PA - A steady, all-day rain forced the postponement of Saturday's Race of Champions Dart Dirt Modified Tour 'King of the Can' at Penn-Can Speedway.

The 60-lap, $5,000-to-win event will be rescheduled for the spring of 2010.

The wet weather kept the T&S Motorsports No. 53 in the garage for the second straight week.

To complete the month of October, Mike Gular heads to Bridgeport (N.J.) Speedway on Oct. 31, where he is set to debut in the Glenn Hyneman-owned Keystone Racing No. 126. The South Jersey oval hosts the Charlie Bray Memorial, a Tri-Track Series race paying $4,000 to the winner.

Gular was slated to make his first run in Hyneman's big-block on Sept. 26 at Bridgeport, but rain after hot laps curtailed that effort.
