Gular Returns To No. 53; Suffers Engine Problems At Grandview |

BECHTELSVILLE, PA - After splitting with the Steve and Natalie Kratz S&N Racing team on Wednesday, Mike Gular returned to his own No. 53 at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.
However, engine problems surfaced during qualifying action, keeping the Green Lane, Pa., driver from qualifying for the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 358-Modified feature.
After getting notice that he would no longer be driving the S&N Racing mount, Gular scrambled to prepare the No. 53 for action, removing the big-block engine and replacing it with the 9-to-1 piece he had run last year at Grandview and Penn-Can (Pa.) Speedway.
